Rugby for Heroes is a UK charity dedicated to supporting serving and former Armed Forces personnel, emergency service workers and their families, using rugby as a tool to build community, confidence, fitness and wellbeing.

Many individuals transitioning from service life face challenges such as isolation, loss of routine, physical injury or mental health pressures.

Rugby for Heroes creates safe, inclusive rugby environments where people can reconnect with a team culture, rebuild confidence and develop long-term healthy habits - values that sit at the heart of the Athletic IQ mission.

Rugby for Heroes delivers community-based rugby programmes that:

• Support physical and mental wellbeing
• Reduce social isolation through team environments
• Provide safe, inclusive rugby sessions for all abilities
• Develop service-person coaches and leaders
• Create long-term pathways into sport, volunteering and community engagement
• Raise awareness of the challenges faced by the Armed Forces and emergency services community

As part of this partnership, Athletic IQ is used as the digital coaching and engagement platform for Rugby for Heroes programmes.
